Multimedia Video is provided by the 128bit NeoMagic NMG4 Graphics engine which drives the 14.1" TFT LCD, an External Monitor, or a Composite Video Monitor/TV. The audio is supplied by the Maestro-2 chipset which supports wavetable and AC-3 surround sound. The external sub woofer expands the dynamic range to provide a full rich sound. |

Infrared The core of the IR support is the IrDa 1.1 Fast IR port which will support transfer rates up to 4Mb/s. A wireless remote control is provided to allow to flip through presentations, play Audio CDs, watch video clips, and control the sound system from up to 10 feet away. The system has 2 transceivers so you can link to the computer from either the front or the back. The port also has IR LAN drivers to allow you to connect to an IR LAN without a network card or cables. |

Expansion Most of the interfaces you will ever need are already in the computer. You can connect standard serial and parallel devices, up to 127 different USB devices, a PS/2 mouse or keyboard, or any IR devices. You can also add more advanced interfaces like SCSI, IEEE 1394 firewire, MPEG-2 DVD decoders, and 100Mb/s Network cards through the 2 PCMCIA sockets.
